ASAN FELLOWS

Fellow status is an honor bestowed upon ASAN members who have shown evidence of unusual and outstanding contributions or performance in the field of Animal Science. Fellow status requires that a person's work has had tangible impact on the field and practice of Animal Science.
Fellows shall be members of the association who are interested in the advancement of animal science as a profession and who have met the eligibility requirements as follow:

CRITERIA FOR ASAN FELLOWSHIP AWARD

  1. Applicants must be graduates of Animal Science from a recognized Institution.

  1. Applicants must have a minimum of 25 years post graduate experience.

  1. Must be registered with the association for a minimum of 20 years

  1. Must have contributed to the profession in academia, private/ public practice or politics.

  1. Must be a financial member of the Association with at least 15 years payment of annual dues.

  1. Must be a member who has contributed to the progress and involved in the Association’ s activities for a minimum of 10 years.

  1. Must show evidence of attendance of a minimum of 10 ASAN conferences.

  1. Must be an active member of a local branch or chapter of ASAN.

  1. Must be sponsored by 2 members who are Fellows of ASAN.
