Admission Requirements
The University of Ilesa invites applications from candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria:
Eligibility for UTME Candidates
- Candidates must have selected the University of Ilesa, Osun State, as their first choice institution on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- They must score at least 160 in the 2024 UTME examination to be eligible for post-UTME screening.
- Candidates who did not initially choose the University of Ilesa but are willing to change to the institution can do so on the JAMB CAPS portal, provided they meet the UTME score requirement.
Eligibility for Direct Entry Candidates
- Direct Entry candidates must apply through the JAMB admission platform.
- Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or other recognized examinations.
- Candidates must also meet any specific O’Level requirements and UTME subject combinations for their chosen programs.
In line with national admission policy, all applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years old to qualify for admission into the University of Ilesa.
Application Process
Candidates interested in applying to the University of Ilesa for the 2024/2025 academic session should follow the procedure below:
- Visit the University of Ilesa’s admission portal: https://admissions.unilesa.edu.ng.
- Click on “Start Registration” to begin the application process.
- Fill in your personal information on the pop-up form.
- Make payment using the Remita pop-up system.
- After successful payment, copy your Application ID from the “Payment Successful” page and keep it safe.
- Click “Proceed to Application Form” on the same page.
- Complete the application form by filling in all necessary details.
- Upload a recent passport photograph (200×200 size, not more than 200kb).
- Fill in the required biodata and academic qualifications.
- Review and print the application summary page.
Candidates are required to pay a screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00), excluding portal access charges. Payment should be made to the university’s dedicated account through the portal.
The deadline for UTME applications is Friday, 30th October 2024. Candidates are advised to complete their applications before this date.
Screening and Admission Process
Shortlisted candidates will be notified of their admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal and the university’s admission portal. Successful candidates are expected to accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS once notified.
