Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, located at KM8, Aliade Road, Gboko, Benue State, is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2024/2025 academic session admission. The institution invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are interested in pursuing various programmes offered by the polytechnic.
UTME Candidates
All candidates who scored 100 and above in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and are interested in studying at Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, should proceed to any approved CBT (Computer Based Testing) Centre and log onto the JAMB portal to change their first choice of institution to Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, if they had not initially chosen it.
Candidates who are awaiting the results of their Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE) but participated in the UTME can also apply. If they wish to study at Fidei Polytechnic, they are encouraged to change their first-choice institution to Fidei Polytechnic as soon as possible.
Direct Entry Candidates
In addition to the UTME candidates, Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, also welcomes applications from candidates who wish to apply for Direct Entry (DE) admission for the 2024/2025 academic session. The Direct Entry programmes are for candidates interested in full-time study.

Admission Requirements
UTME Candidates
Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) programmes through the UTME must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of at least five (5) credit passes at O’ Level (not more than two sittings). These credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
- A minimum UTME score of 100.
Direct Entry (DE) Programmes
Candidates applying for the Direct Entry (HND) programmes must fulfill the following criteria:
- Possession of five (5) credit passes at O’ Level at not more than two sittings, as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
- Successful completion of a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course of study.
- A minimum of one (1) year post-ND cognate working experience in the field of specialization for candidates with a Lower Credit.
- Submission of a JAMB online result printout from the ND level admission process.
Mode of Application
All candidates (UTME and Direct Entry) are required to follow the steps below to complete their application:
- Visit the polytechnic’s official website at https://fideipolytechnic.edu.ng.
- Click on “Apply Now” located beside the login button on the top navigation.
- Complete the online application form accurately and click Apply.
- On the next page (the payment invoice page), select Pay Online to complete your payment process. Alternatively, you can print the invoice and visit any commercial bank to make the payment.
- After payment, you will be redirected back to the website. You will also receive a confirmation email with your payment and application details.
- Print the application summary page and bring it along when attending the screening and verification process.
Note for Candidates Without JAMB
Candidates who did not register for JAMB can still apply. They are required to first apply through JAMB by paying a fee of N3,500.00 before approaching the institution for admission processing. For more information, they should contact the polytechnic’s helpdesk at fideipoly@admissions.net.
