ECWA College of Nursing Sciences, Egbe, has announced its admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the School of Basic and Post Basic Nursing. Applicants should note that the deadline for payment and submission of the admission application is 22nd September 2024.
Admission Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission:
Applicants must have a minimum of five O’level credit passes in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
These credits should be obtained in no more than two sittings from any of the following examination bodies: WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB.
Candidates who have obtained foreign examination results must submit an evaluation report or equivalent grading certification from the Federal Ministry of Education. This document validates the equivalence of their results with local requirements.
Post Basic applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Fulfill all requirements for Basic Nursing.
- Possess a valid Registered Midwife (RM) certificate.
The minimum acceptable age for all applicants is 17 years. Candidates younger than this age will not be considered for admission.
Method of Application
Candidates who meet the requirements can apply by following the outlined steps below:
1. Online Payment
All payments are to be made online using a bank ATM card. To begin the application process:
- Visit the College’s official website at https://egbecollegeofnursing.org.
- Make the payment for the admission application form.
The total cost of the application form is N22,550, which includes bank and transaction fees.
2. Confirmation Email
Once the payment is successfully processed, candidates will receive an email containing:
- Payment reference
- Login details
These details are essential for accessing the admission portal.
3. Complete the Application Form
Using the login credentials provided in the email:
- Access the admission portal on the College’s website.
- Complete the online admission form with accurate details.
4. Printing and Submission
After completing the online form:
- Print out a copy of the completed admission form.
- Print the examination photocard generated during the application process.
- Bring three coloured passport photographs.
These documents should be submitted at the Admin Office on the day of the entrance examination.
Entrance Examination and Interview
Candidates who have successfully applied must participate in both the entrance examination and the subsequent interview. The schedule for these activities is as follows:
