Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, located in Talata Mafara, has officially started selling admission forms for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session. The forms are now available at all Zenith Bank branches across the country. This announcement aims to inform the public, especially those candidates interested in applying to various programs at the polytechnic.
Prospective students are reminded that to qualify for admission, they must have a valid JAMB form and select Abdu Gusau Polytechnic as their first choice of institution. Without meeting these requirements, applicants’ admissions will not be processed.
Entry Requirements for Different Programs

1. Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) Programs
For Pre-ND programs, applicants are required to have a minimum of four (4) passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics. The courses available under this category include:

How to Apply
Candidates who have obtained their admission forms should carefully follow the instructions provided below to ensure a smooth and complete application process:
- Starting the Application – Go to https://agpmafara.edu.ng and Click on “Apply for admission” located on the right side of the screen.
- Payment Verification – Enter the CONFIRMATION ORDER number printed on the payment receipt from Zenith Bank in the designated box and click “VERIFY” to validate your payment.
- Automatic Login – Once the payment is verified, candidates will be automatically logged into their accounts.
- Completing the Biodata Form – Click on “CONTINUE APPLICATION” to access the biodata form. Fill in the required details and save your information.
- Entering School/Institution Information – Select “SCHOOL/INSTITUTION” at the top of the form, complete the required fields, and click “SAVE SCHOOLS”.
- Providing Next of Kin/Sponsor Information – Click on “NEXT OF KIN/SPONSOR” and enter the necessary details, then save the information.
- Uploading a Passport Photograph – Click on “UPLOAD IMAGE,” choose a scanned passport photo, and click “SAVE IMAGE”.
- Printing the Form – Once all sections are complete, click on “PRINT MY FORM” to print a copy of the form, which should be kept as a record of your application.
All applicants are urged to print a copy of their completed application form. Failure to do so will result in an incomplete application, and the polytechnic will not process incomplete applications. The RECEIPT NUMBER on the payment receipt obtained from the bank will serve as both the USERNAME and PASSWORD for the application portal. Applicants may change their password once they log in if they wish.
Obtaining Scratch Cards for Online Forms
To submit applications online, interested candidates need to obtain scratch cards from the bursary department of Abdu Gusau Polytechnic. Scratch cards are also available at designated banks within Talata Mafara. Each scratch card costs five thousand Naira (₦5,000).
